i am trying to figure out where you are... but i can't quite put my finger on it. it must be some view, however, for the final word to leave an "imprint" as it has. hmmmm.... you got me.

I love how you compared what we see, whether it is good or bad & no matter where our "view" rests, creates the image on our mind....for our memory from then on; just as the camera processes images.

This is in response to Renda's comment:

You leave great comments. Are you sure you don't write yourself? You really got this one perfectly. I loved this poem because of its uniqueness and the way it was all brought together, especially the very last line, but I really had trouble putting into words what I wanted to say.

However, you managed to tie it all together with your comment so nicely. I always love to see what you have to say. You really pick people's brains well, especially Peter's. This is not an easy task by any means. Well done! :D

Hi Rebecca! Thanks so much. I do some writing, but sporadically. Did I ever tell you I have tons and tons of HANDWRITTEN poetry I started in 5th grade and have carried through since? I'm in my 40s now. LOL. Some of the years I wrote a lot, some years I wrote very very little. I seem to write more poetry when I'm having an "emotional" crisis. I haven't been particular inspired lately and that is even sadder.

Sorry, didn't mean to get long winded (excuse me Peter for hijacking your comment thread here ~ but see what your poetry has done?). Thanks so much for your comment, Rebecca. I just comment my interpretation of the poetry.....

with comments like these, who needs poetry? thank you, deeply.

The mysterious poet speaks! (And you're deeply welcome, but you know, without your thought-provoking words, we would be twiddling our thumbs with nothing to comment on!)

You're welcome, Peter and I echo Becca's comment about twiddling our thumbs ;o)
