she enters

she enters his eyes through her eyes
penetrating the shell of loneliness
she enters his heart through her heart
saying, “yes, that’s right”
his once gone-cold body
is warmed and inflamed
by the fill of her
so that every time he draws a breath
she draws a breath
and whispers through him,
“yes that’s right, so very right”

There is something about this poem that is so very warm and brings a tenderness to the soul. How lucky to have someone break that shell of loneliness and bring you such comfort with a breath of new life. Quite a stunning write. It leaves me wanting more. What happens next? Do tell.

Look what I found! "Poems by Peter". How I got here, must have been god working somewhere in the back, as god always is back there...working.

I just looked at "Veils of Rapture", who commented above--your coloring is very alike. But I can read hers better. Yours is very difficult for an old guy. Would it be rude to ask you to lighten the font just a little?

Peter, I really REALLY love your writing, for the essence of all this is to communicate my (and your) thoughts in a way which lifts my mind and heart above the fray of "Google earth"--grin!

Your posts (what I have read so far) are brief thoughts, exquisitely sent out to the world in words understandable. AND I do not need all afternoon to read one--then try to figure out "What does he mean by that?"

If I have not conveyed this yet, I wish to tell you now, I thank SO much whoever sent me here to see you, eventually to "know" you.

Peace!
Steve

I plan to link you in a brief--grin! introductory paragraph at top of my post tonight or tomorrow, whichever...
OK?

I'm here via Steveroni's blog and I'm glad I clicked the link.

This is probably one of the most romantic poems I've ever read. I'll be back.
